API datasets, coverage and freshness
Understand Luntero’s rental listings, housing resources, market indicators, air quality and energy labels, including freshness, coverage and source attribution.
Listings, owners and locations
Listing search exposes active rental listings. Draft or unpublished publisher listings are excluded. Owner endpoints follow public-profile visibility. Guides and internet/insurance products follow their publication flags. Administrative ingestion metadata and user/account data are excluded.
Listing detail includes available source links and updated_at. Listings can change or disappear; links and advertised prices are not availability guarantees. Similar listings match city and property type within 25% of the reference rent, ranked by relative price and size difference.
Resources
Articles, handbooks, glossary terms and platform profiles expose existing editorial content. Handbooks return their ordered chapter index; chapter content has its own endpoint. Internet and insurance providers each have separate search and detail endpoints. Products can be filtered by provider_id.
Provider information and advertised plan terms are not an address-level availability check, insurance quote or recommendation. Follow the supplied official links and inspect last_verified_at. Unknown prices remain null; zero is a known zero.
Market indicators
The metric discovery endpoint lists the supported calculations: average rent, median rent, price per square metre, median size and new-listing volume. Observations group listings by first-seen month for a selected city, including listings that have since become inactive. They measure advertised rental supply, not signed contracts or all homes in the city.
The maximum observation range is 24 months. Months below the metric's minimum sample size are omitted. An empty result may indicate insufficient coverage. Metrics not returned by discovery are not available through the observation endpoint.
Air quality
Measurements are stored observations, not live forecasts. Filter by station or city and a date-time range of at most 31 days. Each value includes its component, unit and measurement timestamp. Missing observations are not treated as zero.
Energy labels
The energy-label endpoint looks up previously stored verified registrations by exact address. It does not call an upstream service. 404 means Luntero has no stored matching registration; it does not establish that the home lacks a registered label. Check the returned address, retrieved_at and valid_until before relying on a record.
Source attribution
Luntero aggregates third-party listings and source-backed resource information. Source links and verification dates are provided where available. API access does not transfer ownership or grant blanket redistribution rights over third-party text, images or datasets. Retain relevant attribution and assess the terms applicable to your intended use.
